Diego Simeone has fuelled uncertainty over Julian Alvarez’s future by saying the striker has already made his decision. Alvarez continues to be linked with Barcelona, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain before the summer window opens.
Simeone refused to give firm guarantees after Atletico Madrid’s 5-1 defeat to Villarreal, saying the question belonged to Alvarez. His answer added pressure around a player who has attracted interest from several major European clubs.
