Max Arfsten Nears $7.5m Middlesbrough Transfer

Middlesbrough are finalising a transfer for United States wing-back Max Arfsten from Columbus Crew. The Championship club could pay up to $7.5m including add-ons, while Columbus will retain a percentage of any future sale.

Arfsten is expected to travel for formalities before joining USMNT teammates Sebastian Berhalter and Aidan Morris. If every add-on is reached, the deal would become the third-largest outgoing transfer in Columbus Crew history and another major MLS export.

Barcelona have officially signed 18-year-old Belgian winger Jesse Bisiwu from Club Brugge on a contract running until June 2031. The highly rated attacker has represented Belgium’s youth teams and impressed at the 2025 European Under-17 Championship.

Bisiwu developed at Leuven and Club Brugge before recording 36 appearances for reserve side Club NXT. His pace, strength and dribbling earned Barcelona’s attention, with the youngster expected to be presented at the club’s headquarters.

Ajax have confirmed midfielder Kian Fitz-Jim has completed a permanent move to Torino. Reports place the transfer fee between €3m and €4m, with the 22-year-old expected to sign a contract running until the summer of 2030.

Fitz-Jim leaves after recording seven goals and two assists across 72 first-team appearances for Ajax. The academy graduate now moves into Serie A with Torino, who finished 12th last season and have yet to announce his arrival.

Garcia scored six La Liga goals in limited minutes last season but faced competition from Kylian Mbappe. Arbeloa previously coached both players at Real Madrid Castilla, giving Fulham a strong connection as they rebuild their attacking and midfield options.
