Inter Milan, Tottenham and Cristian Romero

Inter Milan have reportedly agreed a transfer fee of about €40m with Tottenham for Argentina defender Cristian Romero. The proposed move remains incomplete because Inter and the player’s representatives have not yet settled the defender’s personal terms.
Romero is seeking a net annual salary of €6m, which Inter currently consider too high. Negotiations will continue as the Italian club attempts to add another senior centre-back after completing the free signing of John Stones.
