Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund drew 2-2 in their Bundesliga meeting. Bayern midfielder Ismael Saibari was forced off in the first half with a suspected ankle injury, raising concerns about his availability for upcoming matches.
Saibari left the field in the 29th minute following a challenge and was replaced by Nathaniel Brown. An outside physiotherapist suggested possible ligament damage, but Bayern had not confirmed a medical diagnosis. Dortmund also used a back-four formation, with manager Niko Kovač acknowledging that the team had struggled with aspects of the system during training.
