Como have agreed a package worth up to £30.8m to sign Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah. The proposed transfer includes £25.7m upfront and £5.1m in add-ons, with the England international expected to accept a long-term contract.
Manager Cesc Fabregas has pursued Chalobah for more than six months and plans to give him a leadership role. Chelsea are reducing an oversized defensive group after adding Maxence Lacroix, while Como prepare for their Champions League campaign.
