Deyna Castellanos, Portland Thorns and Tigres

Deyna Castellanos is set to join Liga MX Femenil side Tigres after Portland Thorns confirmed a mutual termination of the Venezuelan forward’s contract. Sources said the 27-year-old had already travelled to Monterrey ahead of a medical and planned signing.
Castellanos is expected to replace Jenni Hermoso, who left Tigres last month to return to Atletico Madrid. The move ends Castellanos’ NWSL spell after time with Portland and Bay FC, following earlier European stints at Manchester City and Atletico.
