Napoli left Noa Lang out of their Champions League match against Arsenal as a disciplinary punishment after inappropriate behaviour during training. Sporting director Giovanni Manna confirmed the winger apologised, while a report said Massimiliano Allegri had sent him away from the session.
The incident reportedly began after Lang reacted badly to a misplaced pass from Antonio Vergara and spoke in a manner the coach disliked. Napoli imposed a one-match signal by excluding him against Arsenal, but confirmed he can be selected again immediately afterwards.
