Johnstone Burgh, Tayport, Dunipace and Scottish football organisers

Scottish fifth-tier club Johnstone Burgh say they must field two different teams for cup matches on 21 November because the kickoffs are scheduled just 30 minutes apart at venues approximately 65 miles apart.
Johnstone Burgh are scheduled to face Tayport in the Scottish Communities Cup at 14:30 GMT before another squad plays Dunipace in the Lowland League Cup at 15:00 GMT. Attempts to rearrange either fixture, including alternative dates and offers to surrender gate revenue, were unsuccessful. The club says it has exhausted its options and will have to split its available players.
Why It Matters
The scheduling clash forces a lower-league club to divide its squad between two competitions.
