AC Milan, Troyes and Sankhoun Diawara

AC Milan have officially signed French-Senegalese centre-back Sankhoun Diawara from Troyes for €3m plus bonuses. The 20-year-old agreed a contract through June 2031 with an extension option and will wear Alessandro Nesta’s former number 13 shirt.
Diawara made 17 appearances as Troyes won Ligue 2 promotion last season, emerging as one of the division’s promising young defenders. Milan add a left-footed centre-back with technical quality and physical strength before he joins their pre-season squad.
