Wrexham, English Football League, Issa Kaboré and Callum O’Hare
28 October 2026
Wrexham have been fined £75,000, including £25,000 suspended, after the EFL found two breaches of player eligibility rules. The offences involved Issa Kaboré against Birmingham City and Callum O’Hare against Millwall.
Kaboré appeared as a substitute despite incomplete submission of his right-to-work documentation. O’Hare was listed as an unused substitute before his registration documents were properly uploaded. Wrexham accepted the agreed disciplinary outcome and are improving administrative procedures to prevent similar mistakes.
