Al-Ahli recorded a convincing 4-1 Saudi Pro League victory over Al-Khaleej in a fixture postponed by 24 hours for logistical reasons. Ivan Toney contributed two goals and an assist, while Francisco Trincão also scored as the hosts climbed to fifth place with 21 points.
Toney headed Al-Ahli ahead in the 11th minute after VAR overturned an offside decision. Artem Bondarenko doubled the lead following a defensive mistake before Trincão added a third. Al-Khaleej defender Benegas was sent off in the 70th minute. Al-Khaibari scored a late consolation, but Toney converted a stoppage-time penalty to complete Al-Ahli’s victory.
