Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho is expected to make his first professional appearance in 11 years when Ravenna face Forlì in Italy’s Serie C on 15 November. The 46-year-old joined Ravenna in June but has yet to make his competitive debut.
Ravenna confirmed plans for Ronaldinho to feature in the derby at Stadio Bruno Benelli. The former Barcelona, PSG and AC Milan star last played professionally for Fluminense in 2015. Club president Ignazio Cipriani has publicly expressed his ambition to see Ronaldinho score once more before ending his career. His actual participation will depend on the club’s final matchday selection.
