Jose Mourinho has reportedly signed a contract to return as Real Madrid head coach until 2029. The appointment is expected to be formally announced after the club’s presidential election on 7 June.
Florentino Perez is driving the move and is expected to win despite Enrique Riquelme’s challenge. Mourinho’s return comes after Madrid finished a second straight season without a major trophy and began planning another rebuild.
