Christian Eriksen will begin individual rehabilitation in Denmark after collapsing during a friendly against Ukraine last month. Wolfsburg confirmed the 34-year-old is doing well and will complete his programme at home while the club remains in contact.
Eriksen said the episode differed from his Euro 2020 cardiac arrest and that his ICD protected him as designed. The former Manchester United and Tottenham midfielder has continued playing in leagues where ICD use is permitted.
