Rangers reached the Scottish League Cup final after defeating Aberdeen at Hampden Park. Ryan Naderi scored the decisive goal in the 83rd minute, extending Rangers’ unbeaten run to 11 matches.
Rangers dominated possession and created numerous chances but struggled to convert their opportunities against Aberdeen’s organised defence. Naderi eventually broke the deadlock late in the second half. Manager Derek McInnes welcomed the result while demanding better decision-making and finishing. Rangers will face the winners of the Hearts versus Hibernian semi-final in December.
