Chelsea beat Manchester United 5-0 in the Women’s Super League, handing Eva Olid a second defeat in her first two league matches as United manager. United managed only two attempts, one on target, while Chelsea produced 25 efforts during the rout.
United had already lost their opener 2-1 to London City Lionesses and have now failed to win their first two WSL games for the first time since 2019-20. Chelsea responded emphatically after drawing 1-1 with Aston Villa on opening weekend.
