Thousands of Manchester United supporters protested against the club’s ownership before the derby with Manchester City as anger grew over a ticket-touting investigation. United recently said 685 fan accounts had been banned, with another 464 sanctioned or formally warned.
Supporters gathered outside Old Trafford before marching towards the stadium, while The Red Army withheld its usual banners and displayed one attacking the club’s treatment of fans. Protest songs targeted both Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the Glazers during the match.
