Neymar’s family marketing company NR Sports reportedly paid €2 million to resolve Santos’ debt to Monaco and lift a FIFA transfer ban. The sanction followed a dispute over Jean Lucas and had blocked Santos from registering new players for three windows.
After CAS rejected Santos’ appeal, NR Sports reportedly settled the liability in exchange for shirt advertising space, with its Pele brand appearing on the kit. The lifted restriction then allowed Santos to add Arthur, Everton Cebolinha and Philippe Coutinho.
