After the United States’ World Cup defeat by Belgium

Christian Pulisic suffered a leg microfracture and bone bruise during the USMNT’s 4-1 World Cup exit to Belgium. The injury happened when he struck Youri Tielemans’ calf while attempting a shot in the second half.

Pulisic tried to continue but was substituted after hobbling through several minutes and later appeared on crutches at the team hotel. Medical checks suggest he will miss several weeks, with an August return possible before AC Milan’s season begins.
