Women’s Super League clubs
From the start of next season
WSL clubs will be allowed to provide alcohol to supporters in view of the pitch after successful trials across the top two women’s tiers. The rule change was approved by shareholders and removes a previous restriction.
Clubs can choose whether to sell alcohol at all venues or only selected grounds. Everton and promoted Charlton Athletic have already confirmed they will continue, while the men’s professional game remains under separate alcohol restrictions.
