Sebastian Kehl has rejected Tottenham Hotspur’s sporting director role after advanced talks and a visit to London. The former Borussia Dortmund executive reportedly walked away because of disagreement over the club’s long-term strategic direction and recruitment control.
Tottenham’s search continues during a wider rebuild under Roberto De Zerbi, with recruitment structure still unsettled. Kehl had recently left Dortmund and was viewed as a strong candidate before final discussions failed to produce alignment.
