Barcelona have agreed a deal worth more than £69 million with Newcastle United for Anthony Gordon. The forward will finalise the move before joining England’s World Cup training camp in the United States.
Bayern Munich also held talks, but Barcelona met Newcastle’s valuation after positive negotiations. The sale gives Newcastle major funds for their rebuild, while Everton are due 15 percent of the profit from Gordon’s transfer.
