The injury occurred in the third quarter. This setback comes just after Sabonis returned from a hamstring injury that sidelined him for six games. Jonas Valančiūnas is expected to step into the starting lineup during his absence. The Kings, currently ninth in the Western Conference, have struggled without Sabonis, holding a 3-6 record in games he’s missed this season.
