Marc-Andre ter Stegen is closing in on a loan move to Ajax after Barcelona reached a verbal agreement with the Dutch club. Barcelona are set to cover most of his wages to ease their salary commitments.
The Germany goalkeeper has fallen behind Joan Garcia and Wojciech Szczesny after injuries and limited minutes. Ajax would offer a reset, while Barcelona reduce pressure on their wage bill without permanently cutting ties before 2028.
