Paul Merson has suggested Arsenal may consider selling captain Martin Odegaard this summer as Mikel Arteta plans another squad refresh. The theory follows questions over Odegaard’s recent influence, injuries and Arsenal’s need for more pace.
Merson said the idea sounds mad but believes Arsenal could think about it if tactical demands shift. Steve Nicol and Frank Leboeuf also questioned Odegaard’s future, while Morgan Rogers has been linked as a possible target.
