Manchester City have completed the £116m signing of England midfielder Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest. The 23-year-old has signed a five-year contract, with the fee becoming a club record for City.
Anderson said he was determined to join once City made their interest clear. The deal beats City’s previous £100m Jack Grealish record and gives Enzo Maresca a high-energy midfielder after Pep Guardiola’s exit.
