Coventry City, Eintracht Frankfurt and Aurele Amenda

Coventry City are closing in on a deal worth more than £17m for Eintracht Frankfurt defender Aurele Amenda. The Switzerland centre-back is set to sign a four-year contract, with the package understood to include £15.4m plus add-ons.
Amenda would become Coventry’s third summer signing after Loum Tchaouna and Frank Onyeka as Frank Lampard prepares for the club’s first top-flight campaign in 25 years. Coventry are also still pursuing goalkeeper options before the season.
