Barcelona have received a transfer lift after Al-Hilal reportedly softened their stance on Joao Cancelo’s price. The defender wants to stay in Catalonia after his loan spell rather than return to the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Hilal had previously valued Cancelo at around €15 million, but talks led by Jorge Mendes have opened room for a lower fee. Barcelona now have a clearer path if they can fit the deal into their finances.
