Al-Nassr, Neom, Cristiano Ronaldo and João Félix
20 October 2026
Al-Nassr defeated Neom 1-0 in the Saudi Pro League despite Cristiano Ronaldo missing a first-half penalty. João Félix scored the decisive goal in Ronaldo’s first appearance since receiving a suspension from the Portuguese Football Federation over his national-team walkout.
Ronaldo sent his penalty wide during first-half stoppage time after Neom defender Mohammed Al-Dossary fouled Félix in the penalty area. Félix eventually broke the deadlock shortly after the hour mark with a shot from outside the box. Al-Nassr recorded their seventh league victory of the season and moved to third place, three points behind leaders Al-Qadsiah with a game in hand.
