Real Madrid, Barcelona and Kylian Mbappé
25 October 2026
Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 2-1 at Camp Nou, with Kylian Mbappé scoring twice, including his 100th goal for the club. The result ended Barcelona’s unbeaten La Liga start and brought Madrid within three points of their rivals.
Mbappé opened the scoring after Gerard Martín’s attempted clearance rebounded into his path. Raphinha equalised for Barcelona, but Eduardo Camavinga created the opportunity for Mbappé’s 87th-minute winner. The French striker became the fourth-fastest player to reach 100 Real Madrid goals, achieving the milestone ahead of the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
Why It Matters
Madrid have closed the gap on Barcelona to just three points in the title race.
