Roy Keane questioned whether Michael Carrick is the right long-term manager for Manchester United despite the club securing Champions League qualification. The former captain warned there are still major problems at Old Trafford that Carrick must solve.
Keane said Carrick had done the immediate job but questioned whether United had explored better options. His comments came after United’s win over Nottingham Forest, with Carrick expected to receive the permanent role after guiding the club back into Europe.
