Bayern Munich’s leadership has indicated the club is unlikely to pursue January signings despite injuries affecting several attacking players. Sporting director Max Eberl expects most of the injured squad members to return around the winter break.

Ismael Saibari faces at least three months out following ankle ligament damage, while Serge Gnabry, Luis Díaz and Jamal Musiala have also suffered muscle injuries. Michael Olise remains a fitness concern. Chairman Dreesen expressed doubt about January recruitment, with Eberl explaining that Bayern expect most players to recover before their first match after the winter break. Reports suggest the club is instead considering a major attacking signing in summer 2027.

Why It Matters

Bayern may have to rely on their existing squad through a demanding schedule rather than seek January reinforcements.
