Inter Milan recovered from a 2-0 deficit to beat Udinese 5-3 at San Siro and maintain a perfect Serie A start. James Abankwah and Jurgen Ekkelenkamp shocked the champions before Inter scored five times across the remainder of the match.
Carlos Augusto and Nicolo Barella levelled before half-time, then Marcus Thuram completed the comeback after the restart. Pio Esposito and Ange-Yoan Bonny extended Inter’s lead before Idrissa Gueye scored Udinese’s late consolation, leaving Inter level with Roma on 12 points.
