Roony Bardghji, Barcelona and Ajax

Barcelona winger Roony Bardghji has reportedly torn his anterior cruciate ligament during training and is expected to miss six to seven months. The 20-year-old Sweden international had been preparing for a possible loan move after falling outside Barcelona’s immediate plans.
The injury effectively ends Ajax’s attempt to sign Bardghji as a potential replacement for Mika Godts. It also forces Barcelona to alter plans for the winger and leaves him facing surgery, rehabilitation and most of the coming season on the sidelines.
