Barcelona have officially completed the signing of Germany forward Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund. The 24-year-old joins on a deal until 2031 after the clubs agreed a guaranteed fee of €22m, plus performance-related add-ons and sell-on terms.

Dortmund needed to sell because Adeyemi had one year left on his contract and would not extend. The move reunites him with Hansi Flick, who gave him his senior Germany debut in 2021 and pushed for the signing.

Manchester City, Jeremy Doku and Abdukodir Khusanov

Manchester City have agreed new long-term contracts with Jeremy Doku and Abdukodir Khusanov, keeping both players at the club until 2031. The double extension follows Phil Foden’s new deal.

City are securing key players for the post-Pep Guardiola era under Enzo Maresca. Khusanov became important during defensive injuries last season, while Doku has remained a regular attacking option across three campaigns.

Aston Villa, Chelsea and Alejandro Garnacho

Aston Villa have agreed a loan deal for Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho until the end of the 2026-27 season, with an obligation to buy. The 22-year-old has completed a medical in Birmingham.

Chelsea believe the obligation terms are reachable and expect to achieve their £43m valuation. The move follows Chelsea’s £117m Morgan Rogers signing from Villa, while Garnacho pre-agreed a four-year Villa contract if made permanent.

Arsenal Women and Misa Rodriguez

Arsenal have signed Spain goalkeeper Misa Rodriguez on a free transfer after her Real Madrid exit. The 27-year-old becomes Arsenal’s sixth summer signing and will compete with Daphne van Domselaar and Anneke Borbe.

Rodriguez made a club-record 215 appearances for Real Madrid and won the 2023 Women’s World Cup with Spain. Arsenal are strengthening heavily after finishing second in the WSL and reaching the Champions League semi-finals.

Joshua Zirkzee, Manchester United and Juventus

Joshua Zirkzee has reportedly given Juventus an initial green light for a summer move away from Manchester United. The Dutch striker is open to returning to Serie A after an underwhelming spell at Old Trafford.

United are said to value Zirkzee at around €35m to €40m, with a loan and purchase option also possible. Juventus want to rebuild their attack and could pair him with Randal Kolo Muani.

Andoni Iraola and Liverpool

Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola said the club definitely need to sign a winger before the new season. He also said Liverpool have obvious areas to address after several major departures from the squad.

Liverpool have already signed Jérémy Jacquet and Victor Munoz, but lost Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konate. Iraola also said he wants to keep Alexis Mac Allister despite transfer speculation.

Barcelona have reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign Brazil forward Kerolin for €1.5m. The fee would make her one of the most expensive players in women’s football history.

Barcelona returned after two rejected bids and eventually agreed a figure above Kerolin’s reported release clause. The deal would strengthen their attack while giving City a major sale in the women’s transfer market.

Chelsea have officially completed the £117m signing of Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa. The England international becomes the most expensive British player in football history and signs as a major attacking piece for Xabi Alonso.

Chelsea moved quickly after England’s World Cup exit, beating Arsenal to the deal. Rogers’ arrival increases pressure on Chelsea to trim their squad, especially after further attacking signings and ongoing financial-rule scrutiny.

Chelsea are interested in signing England defender John Stones on a free transfer after his Manchester City contract expired. Inter Milan are also considering the 32-year-old, who made 295 appearances for City.

Chelsea are already pursuing Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix and need to move centre-backs out. Trevoh Chalobah is in talks with Como, while Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile are available.

Nottingham Forest, Sporting CP and Ousmane Diomande

Nottingham Forest have made an enquiry for Sporting CP centre-back Ousmane Diomande. Portuguese sources say the Midlands club have shown interest but have not yet submitted an official bid for the Ivory Coast international.

Diomande has a £68.2m release clause but could be available for less this summer. New Forest manager Oliver Glasner is driving the interest after previously wanting him at Crystal Palace.
