Mohamed Salah, Besiktas and Ramy Abbas

Besiktas’ pursuit of Mohamed Salah has stalled after talks over a free-transfer move hit complications. Reports say the Turkish club offered a two-season deal worth about €15m per year in guaranteed salary to the Egyptian forward.
The obstacle is said to be agent Ramy Abbas’ demands around image rights and shirt-sale percentages, which could almost match Salah’s salary. Turkish reports claim Besiktas have given the Egyptian forward 24 hours to respond.
