Ainsley Maitland-Niles scored a 96th-minute equaliser on his Everton debut to secure a 2-2 draw with Manchester United. United had led twice, with substitute Benjamin Sesko appearing to win the match in the 88th minute before the late response.

Roma and Atalanta

Roma scored twice in the closing minutes to overturn a deficit and beat Atalanta 2-1 at the Olimpico. Mario Hermoso equalised in the 90th minute before Matias Soule struck the winner in the third minute of stoppage time.

Atalanta had led through Ederson shortly after half-time, but Roma kept applying pressure and produced 14 corners across the match. The comeback preserved Roma’s perfect Serie A start, giving them nine points from three games and top spot on goal difference.
