Duncan Robinson is joining the Pistons on a three-year, $48 million deal via sign-and-trade with the Miami Heat. He fills a sharpshooter role after Detroit paused talks with Malik Beasley due to a federal gambling investigation.
Robinson opted out of his Miami deal to explore free agency. Detroit quickly secured him after Beasley’s deal fell through, acquiring the 39.7% career 3-point shooter who ranks eighth in threes made since 2019-20.
