Everton defeated Coventry City 3-1 at Hill Dickinson Stadium, recovering from a second-half deficit to record consecutive Premier League victories. The result lifted Everton to fifth in the standings.

Yann Gboho put Coventry ahead before Thierno Barry scored twice within five minutes to turn the match around. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall added a late third after being omitted from England’s latest squad. Barry reached ten goals across all competitions this season, while Moyes equalled Harry Catterick’s Everton managerial record of 592 matches. Coventry manager Frank Lampard questioned several refereeing decisions, including a rejected penalty appeal.

Why It Matters

Everton move into fifth place as Barry's scoring form strengthens their push towards the European qualification positions.
