Udinese, Kosta Runjaić and Paolo Zanetti
2 November 2026
Udinese have dismissed head coach Kosta Runjaić after eight league matches without a win and appointed Paolo Zanetti on a contract until June 2027.
The decision followed a 5-2 home defeat to Roma that left Udinese 19th in Serie A with five points from ten matches. Zanetti previously guided Venezia into Italy’s top flight and has also managed Empoli and Verona. He will begin overseeing training as Udinese attempt to escape the relegation positions.
Why It Matters
Udinese are changing managers to address an eight-match winless streak and avoid relegation.
