AC Milan and Inter Milan have announced a 20-year naming rights agreement with Italian insurer Generali for their planned shared stadium. ESPN sources value the deal at approximately €650 million, equivalent to $725 million.

The new 71,500-seat Generali Stadium will be designed by Foster+Partners and MANICA. Construction is expected to begin in 2028, with the first match targeted for the 2031-32 season, subject to approvals. Both clubs hope the project will increase matchday revenue through modern facilities, premium seating and commercial development around the existing San Siro area.

Why It Matters

The landmark sponsorship deal gives both Milan clubs a major financial boost for their stadium project.
