Paris Saint-Germain, Lyon, Mika Godts, Senny Mayulu and Luis Enrique
26 October 2026
Paris Saint-Germain defeated Lyon 2-0 at Parc des Princes to move to the top of Ligue 1. Substitute Mika Godts scored his first PSG goal and contributed to the breakthrough as the champions extended their winning streak to eight matches across competitions.
Senny Mayulu opened the scoring in the 72nd minute before Godts added the second in the 84th. The Belgian winger impressed after entering from the bench, providing an attacking boost with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia sidelined by an ACL injury. PSG moved to 17 points, one ahead of Rennes, while Lyon remained fifth on 14 points.
Why It Matters
PSG have reclaimed first place while showing they can win without several injured attackers.
