Real Madrid, José Mourinho, Vinícius Júnior, Rodrygo, Raúl Asencio and Ferland Mendy
24 October 2026
Real Madrid have announced their squad for Sunday’s El Clásico against Barcelona, confirming four significant absences. Vinícius Júnior remains suspended, while Rodrygo, Raúl Asencio and Ferland Mendy are unavailable through injury or ongoing recovery.
Vinícius is serving the second match of a four-game domestic suspension following incidents against Villarreal. Rodrygo and Asencio have not recovered sufficiently to return, while Mendy was omitted despite recently participating in training. Mourinho has included Kylian Mbappé, Endrick, Arda Güler, Brahim Díaz and Yan Diomande among his available attacking options.
Why It Matters
Madrid face the league leaders without four players, limiting Mourinho's selection options.
