West Ham thrashed Wrexham 6-0 at the London Stadium to return to the top of the Championship. Six different players scored as the relegated Premier League side inflicted Wrexham’s heaviest defeat since Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney completed their takeover.
Jarrod Bowen and Joel Piroe scored before half-time, followed by Konstantinos Mavropanos, Taty Castellanos, Mohamadou Kante and Manor Solomon. The result gave West Ham a fourth straight league win, while Wrexham remained with only one victory from seven matches.
