Chelsea overturned a two-goal deficit to beat Leeds United 6-3 in the Carabao Cup third round at Stamford Bridge. Eight goals arrived after half-time as Xabi Alonso’s substitutes transformed the match and sent Chelsea through to the fourth round.
Cole Palmer scored twice within two minutes, Pedro Neto completed the turnaround and Danny Welbeck added two goals. Valentin Barco also scored after Dominic Calvert-Lewin briefly reduced Leeds’ deficit, while Morgan Rogers supplied three assists during Chelsea’s second-half attacking surge.
