Anis Hadj Moussa was left out of Feyenoord’s squad against NEC after arriving late twice as Al-Ittihad intensified their transfer push. Feyenoord had rejected €37.5 million, while the Saudi club reportedly returned with an improved proposal of about €40 million.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst said Hadj Moussa’s head was not fully focused and confirmed lateness to two team commitments prompted his omission. Despite the increased offer, the coach said Feyenoord told him the Algeria winger is absolutely not leaving.
