Harvey Elliott, Liverpool and Valencia

Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott is expected to join Valencia on a season-long loan after the Spanish club found a workable financial structure. The 23-year-old still needs a medical, and the proposed deal contains no purchase option or obligation.
Valencia want Liverpool to cover half of Elliott’s wages, although the exact split remains unresolved. Elliott played regularly during Liverpool’s preseason but has been omitted from their first two Premier League squads after spending last season at Aston Villa.
