Karim Benzema and Al-Hilal

Karim Benzema has left Al-Hilal after the Saudi club and the 38-year-old striker mutually agreed to terminate his contract. The deal still had one year remaining, ending Benzema’s spell in Riyadh only six months after he joined.
The termination was announced one day after Al-Hilal completed the £51 million signing of Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa. Benzema had previously been in a dispute over his future and outstanding arrangements, while his next move remains unclear.
