Manchester United, Chelsea and Andrey Santos

Manchester United have agreed a £50m deal to sign Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos, with £48m guaranteed and £2m in achievable add-ons. Chelsea have also secured a 10% sell-on clause for the 22-year-old Brazilian talent this week.
United moved quickly after missing other midfield targets and losing depth through Casemiro’s exit and Manuel Ugarte’s knee injury. Santos has Premier League experience, while Chelsea make a major profit on their original £16m investment.
