Mark Hughes and Alex Hughes

Mark Hughes has said he is totally heartbroken after the sudden death of his son Alex at the age of 38. Alex Hughes had played for Stockport County and Wrexham before moving into analysis, recruitment and agency work.
The former Manchester United, Chelsea and Wales forward paid tribute through the League Managers Association. Alex had worked for several clubs, including Blackburn, Manchester City, Fulham, AFC Fylde, Morecambe and Grimsby Town, before joining Grimsby last year.
